There were two tasks:

To wheelbarrow gravel from the environmental centre to the cleared footpath and create a path that was safe to walk on that would be free from mud. This involved a lot of shovelling, raking and tested the muscle of our students!

The second task was to dig out a blocked drainage ditch so that water could flow freely underneath the footpath to the reservoir rather than flood the path and turn the path to mud.

SBU 1 were amazing once again and our ranger Paul was impressed with all their hard work - particularly Finley, Joe and Bradley.
