The KS1 children completed some amazing Talk For Writing work on Thursday morning while the year 3's were swimming.

We looked at the model text and boxed it up into the different parts. 

The children were able to identify sentences which introduce the characters, give us more information about them and tell us what happened to the characters.

They were then able to sort pictures from the text into the correct order on their iPads and retell the story to an adult.
