On Friday class 9CS went over to the Sandstone trail near Chester to explore how the weather has carved out caves in the sandstone hills through years of erosion. While we were there we also learned about how to build and start fires using flints, steels and knives. In doing this activity we learned about fire safety, knife safety and knife crime - the laws about carrying knives, why people might carry knives and the potential consequences of carrying knives in public.
